What an exceptional find! We were driving back to Miami and decided to stop at Pepe’s Cantina, conveniently located just off I-95 in Port St. Lucie, and we are so glad we did. This was one of those rare dining experiences where every single aspect exceeded our expectations. The food is clearly created with intention, creativity, and attention to detail. Every dish was beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and packed with flavor. We were a party of six arriving around 1:00 p.m. on a Sunday. Although we called ahead and our table was ready when we arrived, the restaurant was pleasantly busy without feeling crowded, making for a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. One of the highlights was the fresh guacamole, prepared right at our table. Watching it being made was part of the experience, and it was absolutely delicious. Every dish we ordered was outstanding: the Avocado Toastness, Yuca Frita (which was perfectly crisp and served with what may honestly be the best aioli sauce we’ve ever tasted), Pollo Pepe’s, Birria Tacos, Stuffed Avocado, and Steak & Eggs. Wow!! What an amazing place to eat Mexican food. We had such a great experience here today. Foods we ate were: I ordered the Chicken with Spinach and it was perfect. The seasoning is on point. We also ordered the table Guac and it was made right by our table side and it was perfectly seasoned. My husband ordered the Del Mar Fajitas and it was soooo good, cooked to perfection 👌 we had their skinny margarita and they were soooooo amazingly delicious. 👏 CHEERS TO THE CHEF AS WELL. SUPER WELL DONE 👏 👏👏 And let me tell you about our service. Our waitress was Lorraine who was such a personable and professional young lady. The service was PREFECT NO COMPLAINTS!! We had full attention from the time we walked in, until we walked out. MUY EXELENTE SERVICIO. We had the pleasure of speaking with Raul who is one of the managers and he was also very nice and super friendly. 👌 THANK YOU ALL...WE WILL BE BACK. If you’re in the mood for authentic Mexican food and top-shelf drinks in Port Saint Lucie I highly recommend Pepe Cantina Mexican Grill. Hector, the owner, really makes you feel welcome, and Alejandro behind the bar makes some of the best margaritas and martinis around. Plus, she’s very nice on the eyes too 😄 The steak fajitas were absolutely outstanding — fresh, tender, melt-in-your-mouth steak with perfectly cooked peppers and onions that still had a great crunch and texture. I started with the jalapeño poppers, which are freshly made in-house and packed with flavor. To finish, I had the pistachio fried ice cream, and wow… absolutely fantastic, topped with imported Italian pistachios. They also carry their own private-label 100% blue agave tequila with no additives — smooth, clean, and definitely top shelf quality. I also enjoyed their Royal Premium Margarita with Grand Marnier, which was excellent. The entire staff was pleasant and friendly, prices were very reasonable for the quality, and the portions were more than satisfying. Definitely a place worth coming back to again and again.

We came here to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and had such a great experience! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was amazing—our waiter Christian was awesome and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. Luis, Louis, Walter, and Raul were also incredibly attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even better. The bartender made some of the best margaritas we’ve had—strong, flavorful, and absolutely perfect! The food was delicious too—everything we tried, we loved. Excellent service, great drinks, and amazing food. We will definitely be coming back!

We had an incredible experience at Pepe’s Cantina in Port St. Lucie! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was beautiful, well-decorated, and full of great energy. The food was absolutely amazing, and the skinny margarita was perfectly refreshing. The steak tacos were outstanding — full of flavor, incredibly tender, and honestly the best steak we’ve had locally. Every bite was delicious. The tableside guacamole is a must and added such a fun, fresh touch to the meal. The staff was kind, attentive, and helpful, and our food came out quickly, which made the experience even better. Hands down, this is the best Mexican food in town, and we all agree it’s even better than one of our longtime favorites, Rocco’s Taco in Palm Beach Gardens. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend Pepe’s Cantina to anyone looking for amazing food, drinks, and a great vibe!
